6.1 Introduction

This sudden increase in temperature can harm aquatic life and disturb the natural balance of ecosystems. Thermal pollution is often overlooked but can have serious environmental consequences.

·         Strict regulations: Governments should monitor industries and enforce environmental standards for discharge temperatures.
